Winners will receive awards and will be recognized at the 2018 Medtrade Fall Expo in Atlanta, which runs October 16-17. They will also be featured on the HME Business website, hme-business.com, and will be featured in the November/December 2018 issue of HME Business magazine.
The magazine is distributed to more than 18,000* subscribers monthly as well as at key industry trade events such as Medtrade, and its website is visited by thousands** of HME industry professionals every month.
“Each year the competition keeps getting stronger with more and more entries submitted across our award categories,” said David Kopf, executive editor of HME Business magazine. “This year’s contest saw a lot of business services and business technology entries, reflecting providers’ evergrowing need for resources that help them respond strategically to market shifts and reimbursement policy changes.
“On the product side of the entries, we saw particularly hot competition in the sleep, mobility, retail and respiratory categories,” he added. “All in all, it was an exciting year.”
The New Product Award entries are judged by a blind panel of judges from the HME provider community. This year’s competition saw some new judges join the effort.
“I really appreciate our judges generously contributing their time and expertise, and applaud their industry spirit for wanting to support a provider-judged awards program to help their industry peers,” Kopf said. “We couldn’t do this award program without them.”
