Six major parts of our HME industry support include:

1. We are a member of AAHomeCare.
This group is committed to sharing the HME/DME story of cost-effective home medical care to the general public and legislators. As one of nearly 300 association members, Cure Medical pays a yearly fee to support this group.

If you are an HME provider, we encourage you to support AAHomecare too, either through annual membership or by attending their fundraising events held during the Medtrade conferences.

2. We are a key member of AAHomecare’s Public Relations Team to increase membership.

Cure Medical is a flagship participant in a small member group that is committed to increasing membership in AAHomeCare. The team includes members from all levels of the distribution chain, and Cure Medical is the only urological manufacturer.

This effort is being driven by innovators in the home healthcare space. Other corporate members include Life HME, USR in Waco, TX, Handi Medical in St Paul, MN, and First Quality.

3. We support the Access and Care Coalition.
This is a 30-member group hosted by United Spinal Association that includes manufacturers who are responsible for the funding of the program. Cure is a proud financial contributor to this effort.
The mission of the Access & Care Coalition is to counter restricted consumer access to medical supplies under Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance. The Access & Care Coalition consists of urological and ostomy medical technology suppliers and manufacturers, as well as clinician, physician, and consumer and disability advocates.

The Nonprofit Advocacy groups who are coalition members help us educate Federal Government officials that create legislative and reimbursement policy affecting home health care.

4. We donate overall to the United Spinal Association. Cure supports the United Spinal Association at a corporate level as well. The United Spinal Association has meetings on Capitol Hill that Cure representatives attend to help get out the story of the importance of home healthcare.

5. We support the HME Excellence Awards.
